Scouts may take an interactive tour of the mansion and see what life was like for all of the people who lived and worked at Mount Clare in the colonial period. Programming activities at Mount Clare for scouts to earn badges, patch or pins are handled through the main office for the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland. Fees range from $10 per scout and up.

Stitching with Mary Clare (Tote bag craft)
Girls will step back in time for a colonial encounter as you enter the world of Mary Clare Carroll. Mary Clare Carroll was the sister of Charles Carroll, Barrister, who was the builder of Mount Clare Mansion in 1760. The scouts will tour the 1760 mansion and learn what life was like for children living and working in colonial Baltimore. At the Mount Clare Stable scouts will participate in Colonial games and learn some of the sewing skills that would have been part of Mary Clare’s education. Each Scout will take home their sewing project. Held at the Mount Clare Stable located in Carroll Park, 1500 Washington Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21230 from 10-12 noon. $18 per person. Mother Daughter Tea with colonial games.
Join us for a Mother Daughter Tea and colonial games. Scouts will enjoy tea in high style with appropriate silver and chinaware while learning about manners and etiquette. Afterwards scouts will enjoy colonial games in the courtyard! Scouts will earn an Etiquette Manners patch and pin.
